Restore the forest massifs in Portugal!
You will be joining a forest conservation program to rehabilitate degraded areas around Lisbon, Portugal. The objective of the project is to restore forests by replanting endemic species. Forest massifs and natural parks fulfill essential functions for the proper ecological balance of ecosystems. Indeed, forests regulate the climate, control soil erosion, filter water, sequester carbon and contribute to air purification!
Regeneration of forest ecosystems
The program you will be joining aims to restore natural areas destroyed by human pressure. Its objective is to regenerate soils and forest massifs by reintroducing endemic species.
