How does Eco-volunteer work?

You choose your volunteer program

Eco-volontaire is a website that presents a wide selection of ecovolunteering missions, carefully selected through its many partner organizations. You can search for the environmental mission that suits you using filters such as: country, theme, family trips, pricing, and more.

You contact the partner organization by filling out the online form

You book directly with the partner organization

After contacting the partner via the form, they will respond to you and handle your booking. Payment is made directly to the partner organization.

The matchmaking service provided by Eco-volontaire is free for users. The price of your participatory eco-travel is the same whether you use the platform or not.

Eco-volontaire’s partners have been carefully selected. They include associations, NGOs, non-profit organizations, and agencies. Some partners offer multiple missions.

Eco-volontaire has chosen full transparency regarding its partners. When you fill out and submit the “Contact the partner organization” form, you receive an email indicating the name of the partner.

Eco-volontaire partners are carefully selected based on strict criteria of ethics, transparency, and environmental impact. The platform only works with NGOs, non-profit organizations, or agencies that are actively involved in biodiversity conservation and responsible ecotourism projects.

Some programs are eligible for tax reductions. This means that the NGO is able to provide you with a tax receipt for your donation. This tax receipt allows you to benefit from an income tax reduction of up to 66% of your volunteering fees in France.

Volunteering programs have a positive social and environmental impact. Eco-volontaire partners work directly on projects or select missions that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This alignment with the SDGs covers various areas: citizen science, education, biodiversity conservation, wildlife protection, waste management, permaculture, community projects, and more. Part of the fee paid by volunteers helps support the host organization and contributes to a virtuous cycle.

Biodiversity Care (Bcare) is the company that operates “Cap sur l’Écovolontariat”. It is a social and solidarity economy enterprise whose main objective is to pursue social utility within the meaning of Article 2 of Law No. 2015-856 of July 31, 2014.
Its mission is to contribute to sustainable development, the energy transition, and cultural promotion by fostering responsible tourism and, more specifically, ecotourism. Biodiversity Care contributes to civic education, particularly through popular education, by raising awareness of the need to reduce each individual’s environmental impact, notably through advice to individuals and editorial content.
BCare contributes to sustainable development in its economic, social, environmental, and participatory dimensions, as well as to the energy transition and international solidarity, through the promotion of ecovolunteering.

Ecovolunteering promotes a virtuous economic model. Your financial contribution and your fieldwork have a positive impact on biodiversity and the local economy. After returning from your mission, you become a true ambassador of sustainable development.
