Nature and wildlife volunteering in Chile
Eco-volontaire lists carefully selected volunteer projects in Chile, from the wild landscapes of Patagonia to Easter Island. They are run by local NGOs, associations or specialised volunteering agencies that we have vetted for their ethics and their real impact on biodiversity.
What you can do:
– Help protect a 3,000-hectare nature reserve in Patagonia, one of the most spectacular regions in South America.
– Join an environmental programme on Easter Island (Rapa Nui), helping the island protect its biodiversity and prepare for the effects of climate change.
– Care for rescued domestic and farm animals at a sanctuary farm, and support their welfare day to day.
Who it’s for: volunteers aged 18 and over. No scientific background is needed.
Languages: English, Spanish.
How it works: contact the partner organisation directly through Eco-volontaire, free of charge. You book with them at their own price: using Eco-volontaire adds nothing to what you pay.
