Nature and palaeontology volunteering in the United Kingdom
Eco-volontaire lists carefully selected volunteer projects in the United Kingdom, run by local NGOs, associations or specialised organisations that we have vetted for their ethics and their real impact on biodiversity. No flight needed if you live in the UK: a meaningful nature trip close to home.
What you can do:
– Help protect the flora and fauna of the Scottish Highlands, working in nature reserves in one of Europe’s wildest landscapes.
– Learn excavation techniques and take part in a real palaeontology research programme in the south of England.
Who it’s for: volunteers aged 13 and over. No scientific background is needed.
Languages: English.
How it works: contact the partner organisation directly through Eco-volontaire, free of charge. You book with them at their own price: using Eco-volontaire adds nothing to what you pay.
