Conservation program in Kenya near Lake Nakuru
Kenya is renowned for its ecological diversity and the wild animals that roam freely across the savannah. The diversity of its ecosystems provides an ideal habitat for wildlife. Kenya offers an unforgettable experience for lovers of nature and wide open spaces!
Wild animals, especially the most emblematic ones such as elephants, giraffes and zebras, play a vital role in the country's economy. However, cohabitation between the population and wildlife is not always easy.
Human-animal cohabitation at the heart of the project
Many isolated communities live in close proximity to predators, leading to conflicts between man and wildlife. Faced with this recurring problem between the communities of certain villages and wild animals, numerous organizations have sprung up. Their aim is to regulate conflicts, notably by creating conservation zones. The conservation program in which you will be involved is located near Lake Nakuru, one of the lakes of the Rift Valley. As an eco-volunteer, you'll take part in the various conservation actions carried out by the team on site. You'll have the chance to admire the breathtaking scenery while observing the diverse fauna!
