The Alcyon is used by scientists to study micro-plastic, marine mammals and plankton. During stopovers, the crew will meet people working to protect the marine environment. It will also meet schoolchildren through the creation of a network of sponsor schools. The crew also gives two or three crew members per leg the opportunity to embark on the adventure. These embarkations last between 2 and 3 weeks, depending on the stage. They give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in ocean navigation, and of course to take part in a human and scientific adventure.
