Protection of eco-systems on the OSA Peninsula

Welcome to one of the world's most biodiverse regions: the Osa Peninsula, in south-west Costa Rica.
Our partner is a foundation that has been active for over 20 years, working to protect threatened ecosystems through conservation, environmental education and the involvement of local communities.

The foundation's main activities :

  • Conservation : reforestation, species monitoring, anti-poaching.
  • Educational programs in rural schools and with families.
  • Responsible tourism and agroecology training.
  • Protecting sea turtles at Playa Hermosa - Punta Mala.
  • Creation of biological corridors on communal land.
  • Equitable access to nature for isolated communities.

Each volunteer mission is supervised by an experienced team of biologists, educators and community members. Volunteers are integrated into a real, useful and transformative local ecosystem - far removed from mass tourism.

Volunteers' mission with the turtles
