On a horse farm in Canada
Are you looking for an experience off the beaten track? Do you love country life and horses? Then come to Canada and take part in the "Horse Ranch Canada" program offered by our partner Fronteering. You'll discover the vast expanses of Canada's Marlboro country while joining a local farm family. The Ranchstay program has been designed for cowboys and cowgirls at heart who want to spend time on a ranch, away from the bright lights and big cities.
Experience ranch life in Canada
This program is for people who want to learn something new and get to know the community in which they will be placed. This experience gives participants the opportunity to integrate and participate in the family activities of a ranch. Volunteers have access to all farm facilities, meaning they can ride horses, drive the tractor and much more! The program isn't just about farming, it also has a cross-cultural component. The family also takes the participants with them when they visit neighbors, do their shopping or go to events such as rodeos and community festivals.
The volunteer takes part in all ranch activities
This experience allows participants to get involved in the family activities of a horse ranch. Ecovolunteers will be an integral part of life on the horse farm. They'll ride horses, drive the tractor, etc. The program is not limited to horses and farm work.
It's a cultural exchange program that lets you discover Canadian culture. The family invites volunteers to follow them when they visit neighbors, go shopping or attend events such as rodeos or community festivals.
